Eat healthily? Sure! But what’s the best way to do it? There are many different opinions on this, most of which are also influenced by current food trends. However, to supply the body with all the important nutrients, the most important thing is a balanced diet.


The body is made up of 70 per cent water. Through sweating and going to the toilet, it loses about 2.5 litres of it every day, which must be made up. Part of this fluid, about one litre, is taken in through food. 

Sweetened beverages should be an exception not a fixed part of your everyday life. The need for fluids increases during heavy physical exertion. If you don’t drink enough fluids, you may suffer from headaches, fatigue, and lack of concentration. However, some people have a lesser sense of thirst than others. If they are in good health, they should not torture themselves to drink more when they are no longer thirsty. 


Refrain from fast food and processed foods whenever possible. This doesn’t just mean ready-to-eat pizza, but also, for example, fruit yoghurt, which usually contains much less sugar and more vitamins if you make it yourself from natural yoghurt and fresh fruit. Many people also resort to ready-processed foods during their lunch break because they often have to eat quickly. 

If you have a stressful day ahead of you, it’s best to prepare your food in the evening so that you can resist the temptation to resort to fast food the next day. This also saves you a lot of additives that are contained in ready-made sauces, for example. And don’t forget to make little snacks, for example, snacks that you eat during enjoying the casino reload bonus and gambling are also healthier. There are countless recipes on the Internet that allow you to prepare almost everything quickly and easily yourself. Protein and healthy fats can be absorbed particularly well from plant foods and fish. Good sources of vegetable protein include green vegetables, such as broccoli or spinach, and legumes. Fish, such as salmon or mackerel, contain healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Nuts are also a good source of healthy fats. However, they also have comparatively many calories, so it is better to eat them in small quantities.


Learn to cook your food and do it slowly and enjoyably, or better yet, in a company. Generally, people who cook their food eat healthier. Store-bought convenience foods that can be quickly reheated and ingested contain too much fat, sugar and/or salt and little dietary fibre, vitamins, and minerals. Unhealthy eating is often a consequence of a comfortable and overly fast lifestyle. When you snack quickly at the refrigerator or eat in front of the TV, it can be easy to lose control of the amount you eat.


Eating healthy also means taking your time. After all, a roll on the way or muesli at the desk is quickly eaten on the side without really realizing it. If you only sit down to eat and don’t do anything else, you’re more likely to listen to your body and realize when you’re full.
