Is it safe to mix ibuprofen and alcohol?

Mixing the two can cause side effects that vary in severity from mild to serious depending on the dose and how much alcohol a person ingests.
Alcohol and ibuprofen can both irritate the stomach and intestines.

Speak with a specialist before taking ibuprofen if you have ever had a bad reaction to any other anti-inflammatory painkiller.
